I’m a photographer, educator, speaker, and founder of the Women in Focus movement.
I’m also a huge fan of good books, Dunkin’ iced coffee, afternoon naps, and lazy Saturday mornings with my 5 kids.
Since I knew nothing about how to actually run a business, I quickly found myself underpaid, overworked, and on the verge of giving up.
My mental health was a wreck too — I was depressed and anxious trying to juggle work and family and feeling like a failure.
Then I took a leap and invested a whole month’s worth of income on quality education.
Immediately, I made some dramatic changes to my business and personal life. Before long, I was earning 6 times more, and finding some life-changing balance and fulfillment.
That’s why I’ve dedicated myself to empowering women to thrive in all areas of their lives: photography, family, self-care, and personal growth.
That stressed-out mom from 2011 never dreamed she’d be standing on stages teaching women how to achieve their full potential while juggling the demands of work and family — without losing themselves in the process.
you can find me photographing families, snuggling with our foster daughter, trying out new pasta recipes, and dreaming of ways to help other women grow in their photography and business skills while living authentic, fulfilling lives they love.
Do you know what makes my day?
Taking as many things off peoples’ plates as possible… because heaven knows we are all overscheduled, overcommitted, and overtired.
Making women see how powerful and capable they truly are, and helping them feel less alone.
Delivering solutions and strategies to help women grow in photography in a way that feels manageable and authentic.
Being that voice in someone’s head that reminds them they CAN do whatever they put their mind to — and they can do it without sacrificing their mental well-being or their family in the process.
